Frederique Constant watches and timepieces
Frederique Constant is a company created by two watch inventors who fused their names together to create the company name. Frederique Schreiner, who was born in 1881 and passed away in 1969, was one of the inventors. The other inventor was Constant Stas, born in 1880 and deceased in 1967. Printed clock dials were the first endeavour when the company was started in 1904 by the two inventors. Today the company is still a family-run business. Peter Stas is currently Managing Director of Frederique Constant, a fourth generation descendant of Mr. Constant Stas. Like most quality watch designers, Frederique Constant prides itself on producing timepieces with superior quality. The company closely monitors all stages of the production of their watches right from the initial design right down to the final step of hand assembly. All watches are vigorously tested in various positions and temperatures before leaving the company to make sure that you, the consumer, gets the highest quality watch possible. Frederique Constant collections can be divided into three groups. The Classics, the Highlife and the Persuasion. The Classics, as the name suggests, are designed in a classic style with an emphasis on traditional Swiss quality. The Highlife is the flagship of the Frederique Constant range. The Persuasion line features modern timepieces that are quality made and very beautiful, yet competitively priced.
