Juicy Couture Watches

Southern California fashion design company Juicy Couture, best known for it’s terrycloth and velour tracksuits with “JUICY” across the bottoms, added watches to their line of products in May 2006. The watches were licensed through Movado Group Inc. and are sold in high end department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. Juicy Couture’s crest appears on the underside of all watches and is part of some watches designs. The crest features a crown above the phrase “Love G&P” bookended by two Scottish terriers.
Juicy Couture’s watch designs, like the apparel and accessories, are inspired by the more laid-back Los Angeles style. Pink, white and black dominates the colour schemes for the collections. Fun, girly elements are also found on most pieces such as charms or ribbon. The “City Girl” watch consists of a three bangle set with the watch face on the widest bracelet. Two new watches feature white reptile-embossed leather and three charms on the bottom of the face casing: two fixed while the third dangles.
More elegant and chic watches from Juicy Couture include the “Amy” oval face watch, which combines the leather strapped style watch and the charm bracelet. A separate chain with three pavé crystal charms is attached to the leather strap. Sparkling crystals surround the face, which is printed with the Juicy Couture fairy-tale story of “two nice girls” from Pacoima who, of course, “lived happily ever after” now that their fashion label had “swept the land” and in reality swept the world.

Juicy Couture Watches – Playful And Elegant.

Since fashion label Juicy Couture was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc. in 2003 the product lines were expanded beyond it’s apparel and accessories. Watches were one of the new products licensed through the Movado Group Inc. in early summer 2006. Juicy Couture watches include two types: playful and elegant.

Juicy Couture’s playful watches come in bright or pastel colours with part of the Juicy Couture crest integrated into the design. The crest is the phrase “Love G & P” with a crown above and two Scottie dogs on each side.
Three jelly strapped watches are brightly coloured. The face of the first, a blue watch, features Swarovski crystals circling the hands. A crown is also on the face with blue Arabic numerals.
